Have you booked for Burns Night yet? We are using this opportunity to raise funds for CANSA and this year our guest auctioneer for the night, DARREN MAULE, is auctioning off 3 prizes.
If you cannot attend the dinner on the 25th January you still have an opportunity to bid for one of the 3 prizes. The first item will be announced soon and we will contact you by phone on the night if you submitted the winning bid.
BURNS NIGHT 25 January 2018
We are going to celebrate Burns Night this year with a Chef Charlie Lakin style taster dinner. For those who attended the last one, you will know it is all about many little courses where the emphasis is on flavours and textures and colours and taste. We are hosting Burns Night in Trafalgar room (2 looooong tables with a top table) with all the pomp and ceremony required. We have limited seating available so please book early. The menu should be cast in stone but for those of you who know Charlie, you know that it will change if he finds something interesting to pick or forage.

Canapes on arrival served on Britannia Room verandah
Glaswegian fish-n-chip style Haggis – homemade haggis served with curry sauce
Slow roasted onion, mature cheddar, wild garlic & puffed barley
Roasted Linefish & buttered cabbage with whisky spiked shellfish cream
Slow roasted shoulder of lamb with bashed tattie & neeps, creamed leeks and haggis crumble
Oat & Drambuie cake with honey ice cream and raspberries
