EThekwini Maritime Cluster Intercity Development Youth Regatta

A Regatta has been organised by EThekwini Maritime Cluster in collaboration with PYC, RNYC and Sail Africa under the auspices of SAS. This Regatta will take place from Friday, 31st March 2017 to Tuesday, 4th April 2017. The regatta is open to any yacht club members of registered Yacht Clubs in South Africa, affiliated to SAS. The regatta will be sailed in L26’s within the confines of the harbour.
This Regatta forms part of the 2nd Annual Maritime Summit and involves a number of youth sailors between the ages of 15 and 21 from other provinces and abroad. Various activities have been arranged for the duration of the Regatta. With sailing taking place each day from 11h00 until 15h00.
The opening ceremony will be hosted by Point Yacht Club on Friday 31st March 2017 at 18h00.
The Prize giving will be hosted at Royal Natal Yacht Club on Tuesday, 4th April, 2017 at 15h30.
