uShaka 4 week Marine Ecology Course – 4 May – 1 June 2017

uShaka Sea World Education Centre is ready to again share the magic of our marine and coastal environment on our next course starting Thursday 4th May. If you know of anyone who would like to join the course or would like to return for a knowledge top up, these are the dates :
4th May | Back of House Tour and Oceanography |
11th May | Biodiversity, East Coast vs West Coast |
18th May | Basic ID of Common Fish families followed by half hour guiding in aquarium |
25th May | Basic Invertebrate and Vertebrate Classification |
1st June | Ecosystems, followed by 2 hour night guiding through the aquarium |
The 5 evenings cover 12 ½ hours of expert tuition, an exclusive back of house tour, some hands on fun in the classroom, a peep through the microscope in the wet lab and night guidings through the aquarium.
Time 6 to 8.30 pm Tea / coffee and biscuits will be available on arrival
Cost R805 for the whole course. This includes the Back of House tour and two entries into the aquarium for the night guidings, your binder and course notes, Coast Care CD, and a certificate upon completion of the course.

As with previous courses, anyone who misses the odd evening would be welcome to catch up on our next course which will start on 10th August 2017.
