The Britannia Room
Our flagship restaurant style dinning and bar facility, overlooking the yacht basin on one side, and the harbour on the other.
Take in the picturesque view from the Britannia room veranda, where you can watch the ships go by or enjoy the scenery of our beautiful lawns.
This outstanding venue can seat up to 60 people comfortably but has the facility to accommodate up to 80 as a cocktail style environment.
The room is filled with remembabelia from sailing days gone by, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere.

The Trafalgar Room

Our Trafalgar Room is perfect for your weddings, conferences, parties or possibly your formal dinner.
Included is your very own balcony that overlooks the harbour, showing off the harbour lights at night and grandiose shipping in the day.
Did we mention the bird life, from pelicans to the odd goliath heron on a bright sunny day.
Everything you could hope for in a yacht and harbour side venue.
The Fore Deck
Our Fore deck borders on the waterfront and bay. It has the swing pool and jungle gym set in front of the doors, making a great venue for family and kids parties.
The venue sports a serving bar which can be used for refreshments or food. The portal windows make for a perfect naval experience at your function.

The Captain’s Cabin
The Club now offers short term accommodation in the “Captain’s Cabin” located on the ground floor of the Trafalgar Wing. The cabin is currently configured as a double room opening onto the Ndongeni Lawns with unrivalled views of the Bay.
The facility provides members and visiting yachtsmen with the convenience of affordable overnight accommodation when visiting the Club or central Durban. The spacious cabin is comfortably furnished with 2 single beds and guests have the use of the adjoining shared ablution facilities. The cabin is air-conditioned, fully serviced and meals are available in the Britannia Room (when open) or Lower Deck.
Reservations are essential and should be made with the Secretariat; all persons making use of the facility are expected to comply with the Club’s House Rules.
