Ahoy buoys and gulls
Can you believe that next Wednesday – the 23rd March, is RNYC last Wednesday Night Fun’d Sail of the Season. This season seems to have flown past. Nephtune’s Nymph will be represented on the Committee Boat and Chris Frost has very kindly offered to sponsor some prizes. Many thanks indeed. There will be our usual cold beers, music laid on and food – hopefully we will have wind !!!
It will also be the end of our Fun’d sailing for this season – and thanks to the generosity of our patrons – we have collected THIRTY THOUSAND RAND, which will go to CANSA.
Thank you does not seem enough to say to all who have helped along the way – so should you feel the need to contribute anything, if you have not done so already, please contact either Margie or Liz to make a pledge, no matter how small – it has all added up.
There is also a Keeler off shore race this, Sunday 20th March – the 2nd race in the RNYC Squadron series – unfortunately I have other commitments that day so will not be available to lend a hand but enjoy.
